The short term goal of The Nano Reef Project is to provide as much detailed information possible in keeping these new types of tanks. I will move through each step in my own experience and put them right down in here. The Nano Reef Project is almost like a journal of sorts-with my own observations, problems, experiences, and pictures. Hopefully you will be able to learn from my mistakes and be able to create a nano reef with much more ease.

The long term goal of The Nano Reef Project is to provide corals that have been captive bred. While GARF is one of the leading organizations to provide this, I believe that if we all join in, perhaps our dream of having 100% captive raised specimens will come true. I plan on placing a little trading post on here as well as a way to contact other people who are interested in obtaining captive raised corals.

The Nano Reef Project is a nonprofit organization...made up of me! ;) Please bear in mind that I am writing this as the steps are taking place in my own nano reef, and it will be necessary to read as much of what is posted to prevent my own problems if and when they occur. I cannot take responsibility for what occurs in your own nano's. I will go through step by step what has worked for me and I provide nothing else besides a place to read up on nano reef keeping. Good Luck!
